Do I need to bring any documentation with me?

No you don’t. All you will need are your bank details to set up your direct debit payments.

Who do I talk to if I have a query about my student hire payments?

Speak to Kathy Miller, she is our accounts and student hire administrator and deals with all of our hire customers.

Why do I need to pay by Direct Debit?

With hundreds of customers hiring from us, it is much easier to keep track of incoming rental fees. Our Direct Debits are collected by GoCardless on the 1st of each month. If paying by Direct Debit is difficult for you or if you are having trouble making your payments, speak to our accounts and finance administrator Kathy Miller and she will do her best to accommodate your needs.

How much notice do I need to give before returning a student hire?

It is not necessary for you to give any notice if you would like to stop hiring. Just come into the shop and return your instrument.

Do I need to cancel my standing order?

Yes you do. We have moved onto Direct Debits. We cannot cancel Standing Order payments for you. It is up to you to ensure your payments stop once your instrument(s) is returned or you have swapped onto Direct Debit.
