This bass is a fine and typical example of John Bedingfield's early work.  Labelled No 2, Romford, 1985, it is a beautifully made bass with violin outline and flat back and finished with light golden varnish.

Structurally the bass is in mint condition and is currently set up with Belcanto strings resulting in a good even tone across all four strings.  For any player looking for a well priced contemporary English bass, this is definitely one to consider.
